Calvin Trillian, New York Food Tour

This year’s Come Hungry tour, with Calvin Trillin, is featuring a few new stops, including Saigon and Despana, both on Broome Street, in Soho. At Saigon, the owner, Sam Yip, explained what goes into his most popular items, the banh mi and summer rolls. He also offered a rather modest theory for why his store is so popular.
