Back from Costa Rica and the jungle with La Loka

Well, La Loka and I made it back safely from the depths of the Costa Rican jungle. Being taken from such a pure environment and thrown back into the cadre of cement and traffic that is Los Angeles leaves you feeling a little bit the same way that King Kong must have felt when stashed in a cage and set amidst New York. Traffic lights and sidewalks seem out of place and the gardens tucked neatly into people’s lawns and the meridians of the street seem to scream for their natural freedom to integrate with the jungle while single the death throws of the fauna that once surrounded them.

But, enough with the drama of culture shock and the likes, where are the pictures? I have put them in two places, one place is the flickr photo album that graces the homepage of this site and I will embed here; the other is the “.mac” photo album. Please let me know what you think and it’s good to be home, but the yearning to return to the jungle and run free with bare feet and clean air is undeniable.
